  • 1 1/2 C Honey
  • 1 C Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 C Cooking oil

InstructionsInstructions  1. In a 4-quart saucepan, combine pecans, honey, water and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Then turn heat to medium-low, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring a few times.
2. Remove pecans to a colander. Drain and air-dry for 20 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat to 325 F. Add ½ of the pecans. Deep-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove and cool to room temperature. Do the other half the same way.

* Honey crispy pecans can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for weeks or frozen for months.
