The new serial killer film “Untraceable” certainly isn’t unwatchable, but it is a bit unbelievable, rather predictable and more than a little bit gruesome (-able?) Most problematic, the film squanders a solid performance by Diane Lane due to a story that mistakenly believes that setting the film in the super-hip world of cyber-criminals is all that it takes to make the audience forget that this is nothing more than a run-of-the-mill cops and robbers flick.
