3RD GRADE TEACHER D'ANN HURTA IS PREPARING HER STUDENTS TO TAKE THE SCHOLASTIC READING INVENTORY TEST.

 IT'S NOT THE TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM, WITH DESKS LINED UP IN A ROW FACING THE FRONT OF THE CLASS.

STUDENTS ARE IN CUBICLES..........DILIGENTLY WORKING TO DO THEIR PERSONAL BEST.

MISS HURTA SAYS HER STUDENTS EACH HAVE A SPECIAL GIFT.  TELLING THEM THAT THEY ARE CUSTOMED DESIGNED TO BECOME A MASTERPIECE.

AND WHEN 3RD GRADE STUDENTS MOVE ON TO OTHER GRADE LEVELS, HER CARING CONTINUES, CHECKING ON THEIR PROGRESS.

MISS HURTA SAYS THAT ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, SHE MADE IT CLEAR TO HER STUDENTS, SAYING THE WORD *CAN'T* IS NOT ALLOWED

INSTEAD, SHE WOULD PREFER THEM TO SAY, I DON'T UNDERSTAND.... THEN IT IS HER RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP THEM TO GRASP THE SUBJECT MATTER.
