KID'S ARK IS A MAGAZINE THAT WAS CREATED BY JIM AND VIOLETTE BURGER.  IT'S DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN WITH THE HOPE OF MAKING A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON THEIR YOUNG LIVES.

Violette and Jim have been working for nearly 12 years to create a positive magazine for the community.  The Kids Ark is reaching thousands of children every day.

"We realized that children are growing up in a tougher world today and they're facing a lot of tough decisions," said Jim Burger.

     UNTIL RECENTLY ALL OF THE PRODUCING, PRINTING, AND DISTRIBUTING COSTS FOR THE MAGAZINE CAME OUT OF THE BURGER'S OWN POCKETS. 

     JIM AND VIOLETTE HAVE A DEEP LOVE FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE CROSSROADS AREA. 

"We stress core values at the YMCA.  Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty," said Steve Dworaczyk.

     THE MAGAZINE IS SENT TO FOSTER CARE AGENCIES - - AND IT'S ALSO GIVEN FREE TO NUMEROUS DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS.

"I think what they're doing is great, I can see it ultimately impacting our kids coast to coast," said Dworaczyk.
