THE ST. JOE FLYERS START DISTRICT PLAY FRIDAY NIGHT WITH RUNNING BACK BRETT STANFORD ALREADY OVER A THOUSAND YARDS RUSHING FOR THE SEASON.
STANFORD HAD ANOTHER BIG GAME LAST WEEK, AS DID THE ST. JOE PASSING GAME.
KYLE KOTZUR THREW FOR TWO TOUCHDOWNS IN THE FLYERS 49-0 WIN OVER CORNERSTONE. I ASKED TWO FLYER RECIEVERS HOW MUCH THEIR PASSING GAME HAS IMPROVED.
"It's improved a lot", said Dion Ruiz, Flyers Wide Receiver. "Brett's carried our team a lot and we have to help him out every once in a while. Every time we get a pass out there we try to do what we can, make sure we catch the ball."
"It's getting a lot better", said Denver Diefenbach, Flyers Wide Receiver. "We've thrown gradually with each game more, especially last Friday. We threw 4-5 passes, which is not many, but more than usual."
THE FLYERS START DISTRICT PLAY AT SAN ANTONIO CHRISTIAN FRIDAY NIGHT.
