POST-MATCH COMMENTS NOW FROM LADY FLYERS HEAD COACH SUZANNE VALENZUELA.
"I think the major edge was that they were consistent in hitting", said Valenzuela. "It didn't mater where their setter put the ball, they came around and just hit the ball on the court and put the kills down. We were up there blocking, but we have to commit to the whole process of defense and offense. I don't think it was certain point. It's just their consistency. They were more consistent than we were this evening and gave them the edge for the win tonight. How proud are you of the effort of these girls all season long? I'm really proud of the girls. They worked really hard since August. They come out here dedicated. We never give up. They never give up. They worked really hard and I'm just proud that we made it this far. Would I have liked to have gone the distance? Of course, but at least making it to Bi-District is exciting for them. They won District so it was pretty awesome."
THE LADY FLYERS FINISHED THE SEASON WITH A RECORD OF 21-15.
