Molly Fowler's Spiced Party Nuts

Spicy Party Nuts:
Makes 4 Cups
4 C Mixed nuts (whole almonds, pecan halves, cashews)
1 Egg white
4 tsp Dark brown sugar
2 tsp Salt (a bit less if using salted nuts)
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp Finely minced fresh rosemary
Spread nuts on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes at 325 degrees, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven; cool slightly. Beat egg white until frothy. Add sugar, salt, cayenne and rosemary. Blend. Stir in nuts and coat well. Place nuts back on baking sheet and return to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Cool and store in an airtight container.
*These can be made several days in advance of a party.
