THESE 8TH GRADE ENGLISH STUDENTS HAVE GATHERED MATERIALS FOR TOPICS ON THEIR RESEARCH PAPERS. NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT ALL THIS INFORMATION TOGETHER. EDUCATOR CHARLOTTE CRISP, A 39 YEAR VETERAN OF INDUSTRIAL JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IS GUIDING THE STUDENTS WITH PROPER SENTENCE STRUCTURE AND TYPING IN ON THE COMPUTER WITH THE CORRECT FORMAT.

<"She really gets down to our level. Not like any other teacher. You can be really open to her. She's just an all around great teacher. It's really hard to explain really.">Kade Smith\Student

<"Because she's one of the only teachers I would actually come to talk about anything. I feel like I can be open with her.">Gabby Herrera\Student

<"She deserves the educator of the week, because she's the best teacher anyone could ever have.">Morgan Flowers\Student <"I just think I learned from my students as much as they learned from me. Where else can a 60 plus year old teacher hang out with cool kids like this. I just love it.">Charlotte Crisp/Educator Of The Week
MISS CRISP SPENT A SHORT TIME AS A JOURNALIST WORKING FOR A NEWSPAPER IN SAN MARCUS.

HOWEVER WITH THE LONG HOURS, IT WAS DIFFICULT RAISING A FAMILY. SO SHE GOT HER TEACHING DEGREE AND HAS NEVER LOOKED BACK.

<"I just think every day is a new day in teaching. Anyone who thinks teaching is boring has never taught. Everyday is a new day. Every day is full of suprises.">Charlotte Crisp\Educator Of The Week

AND HUMOR IS A BIG PART OF THE CLASSROOM FOR MISS CRISP. TAKE FOR INSTANCE, THIS STORY FROM ONE OF HER STUDENTS.

<"She's a good teacher and she's real nice. And when we get off task, she'll do a little cat claw thing.">Madison Hencerling\Student
