AS THE ST. JOE FLYERS CONTINUE THEIR FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RUN, THE DEFENSE CONTINUES TO STIFLE THE OPPOSITION. AS I TALKED WITH ONE OF THE FLYERS' TOP LINEBACKERS, HE GAVE ME THE KEY DEFENSIVE STATS IN THEIR BI-DISTRICT WIN OVER LUTHERAN NORTH. "I thought we did great", said David Woolson, Flyers Linebacker. "We held their starting running back to 40 yards, I thought that was really good, and under 200 yards total offense, I'd say we did great. Since you guys have played 11 games this year, do you feel the inexperienced tag should be gone? You've played a lot of football. There's no inexperience any more. We were rusty at first, trying to get together as a team, but now, especially our front seven, we play together. Kier and Luke are the main leaders out there. Kier anchors the line and Luke has the linebackers together THAT FLYER DEFENSE FACES ANOTHER BIG TEST IN THE NEXT ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS. THAT COMES SATURDAY AT TWO AT STRAKE JESUIT IN HOUSTON, THE FLYERS FACING HOUSTON CHRISTIAN IN THE TAPPS DIVISION II REGIONAL.
