Dennis Quaid and his wife are suing the makers of the blood thinner heparin. Their newborn twins were mistakenly given a massive overdose of the drug. The lawsuit claims Baxter healthcare is liable because a ten unit vial of heparin looks almost exactly like a 10,000 unit dose.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden held a baby shower for 100 expectant and new mom's at the Los Angeles Free Clinic. They gave the women more than 200- thousand dollars worth of gifts through their new children's foudnation including cribs and toys. Ritchie says they gifts were all things that will

be in her baby's nursery.

Carson Daly is explaining his decision to resume his late night talk show in the midst of the writer's strike.. He says the network gave him an ultimatum...either do the show or 75 staffers will be laid off.
