ONLY IN HER 1ST YEAR OF TEACHING, BRITTANY MATCHETT, IS HELPING TO RAISE THE BAR ON GRADE LEVELS, FOR HER 6TH GRADE MATH STUDENTS.
COVERING ALL THE MATERIAL SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, SHE IS GETTING THE CLASS READY FOR TESTING ON THURSDAY.
BUT TO HER STUDENTS, SHE'S MUCH MORE THAN JUST A GOOD TEACHER.

MISS MATCHETT SAYS EARLY IN THE YEAR, SHE MADE IT A POINT TO KNOW ALL THE NAMES OF HER STUDENTS, AND THEIR SPECIAL INTEREST. AFTER DOING THIS, SHE SAYS MOST FEEL A SPECIAL CONNECTION TO HER.
