THE ST. JOE GIRLS THEN HIT THE BASKETBALL PRACTICE COURT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN EIGHT DAYS. THE LADY FLYERS ARE 8-9, JUST BELOW .500. HOWEVER, COACH CARRIE MYERS, VERY PLEASED WITH HER TEAM'S PLAY. "We're playing really good right now", said Myers. "The girls have really changed and adapted into this defense we're running now. I'm not a big zone person, but I found a zone that's more like a man. They're building confidence in themselves and in their play. It's really helped us. We had a great win over Sacred Heart in their gym. They're a tough team and the girls played hard, came through with a win, and we're on a roll." "We're playing better as a team", said Lauren Vansickle, Lady Flyers Post/Wing. "We just need to work on our fundamentals and we'll be good."
