Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of South Texas will host a free seminar “How Far is too Far; a Discussion of Bankruptcy and Debt Management Programs and Their Limits” on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. at the Multipurpose Room, First Floor of the University Center, University of Houston-Victoria Campus 3007 N. Ben Wilson. The seminar is intended to serve as a guide for anyone facing financial challenges and who are considering personal bankruptcy as a possible solution.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in attending can e-mail questions to Seale that they’d like answered at the seminar to wendys@cccsstx.org. In order to protect the privacy of participants submitting questions names will not be used.
The pre-bankruptcy counseling session includes an evaluation of your personal financial situation, a discussion of alternatives to bankruptcy, and a personal budget plan.
