TEACHING 10TH THRU 12 GRADERS STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, MARIA MORALES IS PREPARING HER STUDENTS TO BE COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT AND GETS THEM READY FOR THE WORKFORCE <"The little accomplishments they do. I know they seem insignificant, but when we accomplish a goal, it's priceless, just priceless. To see them make their first sandwich, or shave their chin....When they accomplish the most minute skill to us, it's priceless." COMMENTED MARIA MORALES OUR EDUCATOR OF THE WEEK.
STUDENT PATRICIA BARNES SAYS "She's the bomb, because she helps us out when we need it. And when we feel bad, she's always there to talk to us. And when she feels bad, we try to help her out, so she can go on with the day."
