The Coen brothers swept the top categories....winning best picture, directing and adapted screenplay for "No Country for Old Men."

Their movie also won an oscar in the best supporting actor category - with
Spanish actor Javier Bardem portraying a serial killer chasing after two
million dollars in drug money.
Another European actor -- Daniel Day Lewis picked up the best actor oscar
for "There will be Blood."
Fellow Brit Tilda Swinton won supporting actress for her role in the movie "
Michael Clayton."

And from France.... Marion Cotillard took the stage to accept the best
actress Oscar for playing singer Edith Piaf in "La Vie en Rose."

for the hit teen pregnancy comedy "Juno."
