SHE'S A TEACHER --- WHO LIKES FOR HER STUDENTS TO HAVE FUN.
INSTILLING CONFIDENCE AND INSPIRING STUDENTS TO REACH FOR THE STARS. GIVING HER KIDS THE SOLID FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE. A GOOD EDUCATION. THESE 4TH GRADE STUDENTS KNOW THAT MISS DIANA CANDE USES SEVERAL DIFFERENT METHODS OF TEACHING, TO ADAPT TO THE MANY LEARNING STYLES OF HER STUDENTS.

SHE UNIQUELY USES COMMON PLAYING CARDS TO TEACH HER STUDENTS ABOUT FRACTIONS. IT'S THOSE KINDS OF VISUALS AND HER PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE, THAT HAVE HELPED THESE YOUNG STUDENTS.

THIS 26 YEAR VETERAN OF TEACHING SAYS THAT SHE DOES'NT USE ANY FANCY GIMICKS IN CLASS. SHE SAYS THAT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT TO LISTEN TO HER STUDENTS, AS WELL AS ADVISE THEM AND TEACH THEM. SHE HOPES THAT HER STUDENTS WILL REMEMBER THAT WITH HARD WORK AND ENCOURAGEMENT, YOU CAN DO ALMOST ANYTHING.
