Health inspectors gave The Norteno Mexican Food on Port Lavaca Highway 21 demerits. The employees were not seen washing their hands before putting on gloves, foods should be covered, and the employee restroom did not have toilet paper.<br>Church's Fried Chicken on Rio Grande earned 15 demerits. Dishes were found in the hand sink, gnats were flying around, and the floor drain was clogged, causing water to puddle on the floor. The missing floor tiles also need to be replaced.<br>Several locations were not given any demerits. Shipley's on Rio Grande, Sonic on Houston Highway and Subway on John Stockbauer all had perfect inspections.
