Victoria Teacher Helps Students Recognize Potential

STUDENTS ARE TAKING A PRE-ASSESSMENT FOR THE MATH TAKS TEST WHICH WILL OCCUR SOON.
WITH ONLY 4 YEARS AS A TEACHER, STELLA GURAU IS MAKING A POSITIVE CONNECTION WITH HER STUDENTS IN THE CLASSROOM.

And when I was in the hospital, she called me up and asked how I was doing. And it made me feel comfortable inside. It made me feel that I was appreciated by her."
SHE ALSO ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO RESPECT THEMSELVES AND RESPECT OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY. HELPING THEM GET ALONG JUST LIKE A FAMILY.
