St. Joseph-O’Connor Athletic Complex bristled with life all season as fans from across the area came out to support the new Jaguars softball team. In thanks for such a great first season, UHV Athletics has declared Saturday’s doubleheader as Fan Appreciation Day.

Everyone who comes to the game will be entered into a raffle for prizes including a:

·       Round of golf for four at Colony Creek Country Club    

·       Round of golf for four at Victoria Country Club

·       Free service at the Woodhouse Day Spa

·       Three-month membership at DeTar Health Center

·       One-hour massage at DeTar Health Center

Fans can improve their chances by buying extra tickets for just $1 each. The proceeds will go to benefit UHV Athletics.

The Jaguars will take on the Northwood University Knights (Cedar Hill, Texas) in doubleheader action starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the St. Joseph-O’Connor Athletic Complex, 3006 N. Cameron St. (one block northeast of the intersection of Airline and Navarro, behind Tejas Café).

General admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with ID. Kids under 11 always get in free with a paid adult.

Team members will be available to meet the public and sign autographs after the game.
