Today is the day that the new garbage trucks are in selected areas of Victoria picking up garbage.  They are in the neighborhoods where the news 94 gallon garbage cans were delivered last week.  About 7,400 of the new designed garbage cans that replace your existing cans were delivered to several neighborhoods, and the rest will be delivered in the weeks ahead.  The whole idea is to get into an automated system of picking up garbage that is more efficient and requires fewer workers on the trucks.
