STANDING AT ATTENTION, PEACE OFFICERS GATHERED TO HONOR THEIR FALLEN COMRADS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, STATE OF TEXAS AND EVEN RIGHT HERE IN VICTORIA TO SHOW THEIR RESPECT. <"May we never forget the men and women in which they've lost their lives in the line of duty and for what they stand for.">Michael T O'Connor\Victoria County Sheriff
LAST YEAR 22 PEACE OFFICERS LOST THEIR LIVES IN TEXAS. AND SO FAR THIS YEAR 5 HAVE DIED IN T HE LINE OF BATTLE.
OFFICERS PREPARE THE FLAG TO BE RAISED AT HALF MASS WHILE THE ROLL CALL IS READ OF THE NAMES TO RECOGNIZE AND PAY RESPECT FOR THE FALLEN AND THEIR SURVIVORS.
