MEANWHILE, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP TO PLAY IN THE VICTORIA CITY CHAMPIONSHIP.
THE TOURNAMENT STARTS ON THE 18TH, AND ONCE AGAIN IT WILL BE PLAYED AT ALL THREE GOLF COURSES. SIGNUP NUMBERS, A LITTLE BEHIND LAST YEAR.
"It's been a little bit slow but like anything in golf in Victoria people are just a little late in signing up", said Colony Creek Director Of Golf Greg Hughes. "We just want to remind everybody to get in, sign up. We still anticipate more players than last year. We just wish they'd hurry up and sign up so we know for sure how to plan for the functions and the tee times at the golf courses." "We've got several players coming back to play again", said Victoria Country Club Head Golf Pro Breene Cantwell. Unfortunately there are several functions going on around Victoria at this time which has taken a few of the players away.
