HERE ARE THE TWO LATEST NATIONAL CHAMPIONS FROM VICTORIA GYMAGIC.
EIGHT-YEAR-OLD ZSKAIRA WILLIAMS, IN HER FIRST JUNIOR OLYMPIC NATIONAL MEET, WON GOLD IN LEVEL SIX TUMBLING, WHILE ALSO TAKING SIXTH IN DOUBLE-MINI AND TRAMPOLINE. IN KANSAS CITY,13-YEAR-OLD ANGELA FOSTER WON HER THIRD NATIONAL TITLE, THIS TIME LEVEL TEN IN TRAMPOLINE.
"It was very exciting", said Foster. "I was really nervous, but I knew I could do it because I've been working very hard. I just thought to myself I just have to do it and I've been doing it so long. It's just something I need to do." "Actually we've had a streak when we were only winning silvers for years", said Victoria Gymagic Owner Cindy Thompson. "I told the girls I have no allergy to gold. I am ready for some gold medals and I know both of these athletes had great potential to win if they would just keep it together, focus, and do what they do in the gym every day. Thankfully they did." THOSE TWO WILL ALSO BE PART OF OUR SUMMER KIDS PLAY WEEK SERIES WHICH BEGINS NEXT MONDAY.
