VICTORIA KARATE ACADEMY JUST HAD THREE YOUNGSTERS COMPETE IN AT THE BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS LAST WEEKEND. THEY NEXT COMPETE IN LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA ON THE SECOND, THEN THEY HOST THE VICTORIA'S BEST EVENT ON THE NINTH. "How hat it changed your life? A bunch", said seven-year-old VKA student Jade Beck. "I really like coming up here and learning more stuff every day." "I'm getting to have defense for myself so I don't get beat up all the time, and it's helping me be responsible", said Kslyn Kieth, nine-year-old VKA student." "What does it take to be a champion in this sport? First of all dedication", said VKA Co-Owner Luis Jimenez. "You can have natural talent, but hat won't make you an athlete by itself.
