THIS IS A BIG WEEKEND FOR SEVERAL KIDS FROM STRINGO BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU.
RECENTLY IN HOUSTON, THREE YOUNGSTERS FROM THERE WON GOLD MEDALS IN A MAJOR COMPETITION. "What's surprising about the grappling is that it's so easy to learn", said Stringo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Owner Jason Stringo. "New kids come in with natural ability to wrestle, they've probably been wrestling before they even got here, and we just put a little order in the chaos. They pick it up in no time. The beginners get out there and rock and roll, it's fantastic, very rewarding." "For the most part, fun is because I can make new friends and it helps me defend myself.", said 10-year-old silver medalist Natalie Corona. "The hard part is learning new moves."
"When I started here honestly I didn't know anything and now I'm better",said 12-year-old gold medalist Anastasia Monroy. "I'm still so confident and love the sport, it's awesome. How well do do you think you'll do this weekend? I'm hoping I 'll do well. I'm praying, praying, praying and praying that I'll do good."
TEN COMPETITORS FROM STRINGO BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU WILL TAKE PART SATURDAY IN THE BATTLE OF H-TOWN IN SPRING.
