Victoria police say they’re trying to determine circumstances leading up to the death of a man found hanging from a tree on Victoria’s south side.  The discovery was made just after 8:00am this morning at a home on River Street near Depot Street south of Victoria’s downtown area.  An electrical extension cord was used in the death of the man believed to be in his mid-30’s.  Investigators say the body will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s office in Austin for an autopsy and to determine if foul play was involved.
