Rocking the vote, Bruce Springsteen performed in support of Senator Barack Obama with free weekend concerts in Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio. The boss will perform at another Obama rally Monday at Eastern Michigan University.

But it was a no-show for Janet Jackson. An undisclosed illness has halted Jackson's first North American tour in seven years. After cancelling 3 concerts last week, the 42-year-old singer still wasn't well enough to perform in Greensboro, North Carolina Saturday. So she postponed 3 more shows. Jackson's doctor ordered her to return home for further treatment.

Disney's canine comedy about a street-wise chihuahua who falls in love with and rescues a lost hollywood pampered pooch was the top draw at the weekend box office. "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" earned $29 million in its debut. The dogs took a bite out of last week's top pick. The thriller "Eagle Eye" starring Shia Labeouf fell to second with nearly 18 million.
