THE SECOND HALF OF THE 27-5A VOLLEYBALL SEASON STARTS FOR THE VIPERS TUESDAY NIGHT.
THEY ARE 3-4, TIED FOR THE LAST PLAYOFF SPOT WITH JUDSON. HOW BIG A CHALLENGE IS IT FOR THE VIPERS TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS? "It's a little difficult", said setter Tabby Zella. "We're in a tough position because we've lost more than we've won so far. In the first road we lost to a few teams that we know could have beaten. If we just pull it together in the second round we can do it." "We can turn it around", said right side hitter LaTonya Jackson. "We did it last season, so if we keep positive and work really hard we can turn it around." "This is a big challenge", said middle blocker Sam Alvarez. "We are prepared to fight for what we want. We just have to come together as a team and play hard and strong all the way through." THE VIPERS START THE SECOND HALF OF DISTRICT IN CORPUS AGAINST CARROLL TUESDAY NIGHT AT 7:30.
