About two o'clock Monday afternoon, an eight point buck broke through the glass of the Heritage Mark building on North Navarro and into the Bank of America. As customers and employees fled, the deer ran through the lobby and into an office where he tried to escape. The large animal was eventually corralled in an empty office and The Texas Parks and Wildlife Service was called to escort the special guest out of the building.

Despite some cuts to his face from breaking through the glass, the buck is okay. He was returned to the wild Monday afternoon.
