Because of soggy conditions left by yesterday morning’s rain, road construction on Laurent Street has been pushed back to midnight tonight.  So for a six hour period from midnight tonight to 6:00am tomorrow morning, Laurent Street between Red River and Loma Vista will be shut down.  Workers will be pouring concrete pavement on the east side of Laurent.  The traffic restrictions will be in affect during this time, and officials suggest finding an alternate route around this site if you have to drive in the area during the pre-dawn hours.  This is part of the $9.8 million dollar Laurent Reconstruction Project that started earlier this year.
