A few gasoline stations around Victoria have lowered their prices another few cents, breaking into the $1.80’s range.  An Exxon station and a Valero gas station out by Lowe’s and Hobby Lobby are posting $1.89 for regular unleaded gasoline.  That’s down four cents from yesterday.  Meanwhile the price for a barrel of light crude old closed at $58.24.  That’s up $2.08 from yesterday’s close on the New York Mercantile Exchange.  It’s been two years since oil prices have been below $60 a barrel, and about the same amount of time since gasoline prices have been below $1.90 in Victoria.  With the volatility of the stock and oil markets, analysts are finding it hard to predict what will happen next at the gas pumps.
