Port Of Victoria Searches For New Executive Director

The Port of Victoria has launched a search for a new Executive Director.  A news release sent out this afternoon said longtime port Executive Director Howard Hawthorne left that post recently and a nationwide search was started.  The release said the Port of Victoria helps generate over $1.2 billion dollars in business revenue and contributes to thousands of jobs in Texas.  Officials hope to have the position filled within the next 60 to 90 days.
