THE YOAKUM BULLDOGS ARE COMING OFF THEIR FIRST FOOTBALL PLAYOFF WIN IN FOUR YEARS. THE BULLDOGS HAVE WON SEVEN OF THEIR LAST EIGHT, AND THEY TALKED WITH ROSS ABOUT HOW MUCH THIS LATEST WIN WILL MEAN TO THEM. "Well, it definitely helped our kids confidence to go in and get the first playoff win in awhile around here", said head coach Dan Burk. "We were 1-9 last year. The kids gained some confidence. We won I think 8 of our last 9, so they're starting to feel good about themselves." "We got a lot of confidence, going in knowing we can start winning now. we've been winning a lot of games the past couple weeks", said cornerback Dillon Caka. "We're pretty confident. We got our running game good, our passing game, so we're pretty good - confident." THE BULLDOGS' AREA PLAYOFF COMES UP FRIDAY NIGHT IN AUSTIN. 3A Divison II Area\Yoakum Vs. Giddings\ \Friday, 7:30 P.M.\ \House Park Stadium\Austin.
