LAST WEEK, THE SHINER COMANCHES HAD A FIRST ROUND BYE. THIS WEEK, THEY START THE PLAYOFFS COMING OFF THEIR FIRST LOSS TO THE SEASON TO BURTON. ROSS ASKED THE COMANCHES HOW THAT SETBACK AFFECTED THEM.
"Number 1, from the offensive standpoint, we just didn't know where we were going and when you don't know where you're going, you're going to play tentative and not physical", said head coach Steven Cerny. "And defensively, we didn't do a good job of turning to sweep and we didn't attack and we kind of just went out there thinking things were going to work out without playing hard-nosed football. And Burton woke us up." "Well, we're feeling very confident", said safety/tight end Samuel Murphy. "Last week wasn't that great. Let me tell ya, coach came out with a lot of intensity and they're going to have us ready."
