Flash Flood Warning: Dewitt, Lavaca, Gonzales County

A flash flood warning will last until 12:15 a.m. Monday.  A flash flood watch will continue until 1 a.m. Monday for the southeastern counties in Central Texas. The National Weather Service says Dewitt, Lavaca and Gonzales County are under a flash flood warning until 12:15 a.m. Monday and a flash flood warning until 1 a.m. Monday.

A line of showers continue to move slowly southeastward across these counties. Additional rainfall will result in rapid runoff. Creeks and streams could possibly flood as well as street flooding in urban areas.
