At 8:50 Wednesday night, Goliad Sheriff’s deputies with a search warrant in hand, were dispatched to a small wood framed house in Berclair that’s located just a few miles outside the city of Goliad.

“We received information that there was a person of interest in Berclair that had a sizable amount of marijuana,” said Sheriff Brumby.

The person of interest, 37 year old Encarnacion Hernandez was found at the residence along with three other subjects; Edolio Hernandez , Alejandro Carbajal and Jimmy L. Flores.   All were under the influence at the time of the bust.

Deputies then searched the house and recovered 500 dollars and almost 30 pounds of marijuana which has a street value of 15,000 dollars.

As a result, these four suspects are facing third degree felony charges.
