If you're looking for something to do on Saturday evening, Goliad's Ander-Weser Volunteer Fire Department is holding their annual BBQ fundraiser.

The event includes a hefty load of BBQ beef with all the trimmings. Meals run $7 for adults and all plates to-go, but kids under the age of 12 can purchase a plate for $3.A live and silent auction will take place, and a country store will be open. The event kicks off at 4 pm out at the Weesatche Community Center and will run until 7 pm.
