It was a simple wish....that turned into what 10 year old Tim describes as the best birthday party he's ever had. It was a simple wish....that turned into what 10 year old Tim describes as the best birthday party he's ever had.

His mom Tiffany made a wish on the "Wish Upon a Hero" website...

"I made a wish to see if he could get cards and words of encouragement because he had been having a rough time and I wanted him to know he was special to more than just me." Tim's mom Tiffany Rodriguez said.

Tim's sister who passed away two years ago would have also been celebrating a birthday in September. That, on top of not getting to see his father who has been in prison since before he was born, like he thought he was going to, has made the month tough on Tim his mom says.

"He doesn't talk about his emotions, he doesn't tell you he's upset, but I can see its bothering him. He just holds it in and mopes around, so I thought getting cards would pick his spirits up, but we got more than just cards." Rodriguez said.

Way more than cards....

"I received a call about a week and a half ago from a lady in Chicago who is a member on the "Wish Upon a Hero" website. She let me know of a lady in Gonzales that wanted her son's birthday recognized and had mentioned Incredible Pizza." Incredible Pizza Marketing Director Jill Kidd said.

Incredible Pizza did a little checking and then contacted the family offering a full birthday party for Tim.

Saturday, Tim was all smiles, and based on his joyful disposition it didn't appear that he was worrying about much else other than cutting the cake and playing some games.
